WHEN TOMORROW NEVER CAME

hopes built up high like a threshold

believing in infinite possibilities in bold

even as the fortune teller foretold

tomorrow, a sailing ship in the open cold

fallacies and dreams in sync

our lives ends but in a blink

we hold on to tiny threads of hope

death comes in gallop, then elope

a realty…. a far cry in spontaneity

yet still, we base our belief in agility

nothing is promised, not even our breathe

only the lucky ones are decorated with wreathe

a future you may not feature

a picture laced with series of acupuncture

no one gets out of life alive

death whispers to individuals in aside

the tomorrow we labored for, we will not see

humanity is already lost at sea

death is the only true friend we have

others are just manipulators starved

  1. This is a sobering reminder of how uncertain life truly is. We spend so much time building dreams around tomorrow, forgetting that the only moment we are certain of is the one we have now. What makes this piece powerful is its confrontation with mortality and the fragile hope that keeps humanity moving despite the unknown. Perhaps the lesson isn’t to stop dreaming about tomorrow, but to learn to live meaningfully today. A deeply thought-provoking piece. 🖤🖋️
