A CLOSE CALL
a snake shed it’s skin outside a burrow
left it there like it was borrowed
pale and opaque it stares
must be one of nature’s nightmares
a close call to our soul
our thoughts eats us up like mole
life offers only detrimental happiness
existence so worthless and meaningless
a close call, a nearly miss
death comes with thousand steeze
a loud chime when your time’s up
like a firm cock, you will drop
a meaningful pain, meaningless joy
a ploy to euthanize with coy
sorrows are forever established
all souls are born to be perished
normalcy should be bargained
my mind is at it again
how can I wave off these thoughts
they might make my blood clot
alas! there goes my sanity
I swam too long in life’s calamity
my thought process needs to be in captivity
an immerse activity
