they never left

in our bones and marrows, they melt

they are always with me till the end

our ancestors will blend

their voices tiny when they whisper

but base is deeper

they ring caution to the ears

less you’re caught in terrible fear

we carry on the genuinity of our clan

no need to raise a magic wand

our skin already radiate the texture

it’s all domicile in our culture

during tales at night, they abide

relieving memories while seated by our side

the moon illuminates in splendor

the evening air moves in grandeur

even when we sleep, they keep watch

in dream world, they lit our path with a torch

‘carry on and fear not’

‘if harm comes near thee, we will clot’

  1. "You have a gift for making culture and ancestry feel alive through words. This is the kind of poem that lingers in the mind long after the last line. Keep writing."
    My favorite would be:
"The imagery is rich, and every line feels like an echo from generations past. 'They never left' isn't just a title—it becomes the heartbeat of the entire poem. Beautifully crafted."
