in jealousy and hate, they play ball

aiming for my feet to fall

they, enemies who has laid a snare 

in their doubts, I dare not dare 

the eyes kept watching without a wink

calculating every moves without a blink 

waiting for my steps to wobble 

then I’ll be in serious trouble 

they laid a net for my soul

their sound turned into growl 

they care not if my life is snuffed 

your plea is just a bluff 

my tears became a stream for their joy 

as I lay down crying “El roi”

why think I am alone in this feat

no matter how hard you try, there won’t be defeat

they forgot in me resides the living waters 

with this, you will never see me falter

can’t you see the glow above my head 

a halo placed there, yes I’m blessed  

spirits are around me to do my bidding

I have never for once stopped believing 

that I was created for a divine purpose 

with that, I stand unopposed
