STORM IN AFRICA
an enemy by blood within
lying on a coral bed breathing
the future picture we ought to feature has been scratched
our pride has been bashed
storm’s in Africa
our blackness is in dilemma
it is revving up to consume the least tadpole
a conspicuous mole
the boys-quarter boys have taken over the palace
and all we are shouting is alas!
they have plundered and usurped
and not ready to make a resolve
they rule in madness and tyranny
firmly holding our jugular which is alarming
a noose on our neck each day
our energies drained, that is the way
leaders in beast mode
piling up for us burdens and load
those who are not meant to be in power are on seat
they stink badly, a terrible leech that breath
Africa is at their mercy
a whirlwind is coming soon, let’s see
they will be swept by it’s overwhelming force
they will fall mightily, and it will be their loss
storm’s in Africa
our blackness is in dilemma
the gods are asleep and heavily snoring
we must act else they’ll do nothing
