LONELINESS IN THE CROWD

 

I’m lost within in my soul 

my mind’s black like the color of a crow 

in the midst of love I feel odd 

life has swept my sanity off like flood 

I call for love but none answered 

I searched for hope but met her shattered 

I am all alone in this world 

I’m darkened, empty and void 

my connectivity has long been switched off 

happiness vanished fast like a puff 

even if I hold my breathe under water 

deep down, my psyche has deteriorated like gutter 

I am lonely even in the garden

despite sweet aromas emanating like princess jasmine in Aladdin 

flowers withers away as I walk past them 

sadness holds a tight grip on me firm 

if love was radiating, count me out 

I profess feelings not from my mouth 

hurts and heartbreaks has remolded me 

I’ve been chopped off like a wood in a sawmill 

save my soul if you may 

though my race is now on relay 

I am lonely, oh! yes I confess 

my life is already in distress
