MEMENTO AMORIS

 

hearts gets broken and it is a pure fact 

that with this we may choose to act 

to heal up and become whole 

or become terror by drilling other’s heart with hole

our magnet attracts hatred, love and envy 

it gives blinkers to our most dreadful enemy 

predestined events we cannot maneuver 

fate will gladly hand us over 

no matter the baton life hands to you 

live it like you have a clue 

stay intact like a clove 

and remember you must love 

memento amoris is our key existence 

if you grow in hate, your heart is just in pretense 

no one can override nature 

there is an undeniable fact in every culture 

remember you must love in every way 

this is already implanted in us, no need to pray 

we owe so much to ourselves as human 

it cost us nothing to genuinely say “I love you man”

a race we ought to be running each day 

so we can bring humanity back in play 

memento amoris we live for 

we need to live for ourselves more
