HOPELESS DREAM

 

our subconscious is feeble 

our mind’s in a little trouble 

your dreams are not yours notwithstanding 

your world can suddenly come crashing 

goodbye to all ambitious urge

we had high hopes for but later purged 

ambitions and goals to become sought after 

death came and closed the chapter 

goodbye to hopeless dream 

shattered beyond reality’s realm 

the world has lost a pebble 

a soothing angelic devil 

goodbye to hopelessness and betrayal 

you could swear that your lover was loyal 

a simple pat on your back by a thorny finger 

the pain now scared and will forever linger 

hopeless dreams in a dicey plot 

when life only offers pain, sicknesses and rot 

a hopeless hope for an ambitious soul 

life is nothing but a brawl 

goodbye to sonorous voices 

life only offer us pathetic choices 

an hopeless existence we hold in high esteem 

our failures are predestined
