THIS DAY WILL NEVER COME

 

as the world moves fast in speed 

love feels like all we need 

desires and lust rolls up their sleeves 

all we offer is smiles and greed 

remember we all experienced déjà vu 

some capitalize it like a fool 

our minds are wired to play tricks on us 

if you fall, it is your loss 

this day will never come again 

so listen staunchly like the beat of the rain 

the littlest wisdom I can offer in writing 

so you can be upright to do the right thing 

blessings and curse are similar in nature 

our life is nothing but a unique adventure 

be careful where you thread 

hence you walk into your death 

it is better to be safe than sorry 

almost everyone is in a hurry 

pain latches on us all 

knowing fully well we all will slip and fall 

the desire for wealth is alarming 

ill wealth gotten through scamming 

still add guts to flaunt on social media 

such audacity, oh! dear 

our live is like a puff of smoke 

or the fizz from a bottle of coke 

in few seconds it’s over 

death cares not even if you’re older 

hold on to the ones that loves you 

reciprocate kind gestures done to you 

to see true love in this era is golden 

jealousy, hatred and envy is written boldly 

for humanity sake be good 

let others have a piece from you like it’s food 

to convert an idiot is a terrible war 

a fool is comfortable in his folly 

the wages of sin is death 

live a sin-free life in good health 

you will attract people like swarm of bees 

they will eat fruits from you because you are a golden tree

this day will never come again
