MAN’S FATE

 

man’s fate, a terrible agony 

ushers in dubious alimony 

the world isn’t a safe space for man 

he dies while another one takes his bride  

overburdened by thoughts 

no one cares even if he rots 

a man is gotta do what a man is gotta do 

if he runs from responsibility, he’s a fool 

his needs aren’t priorities anymore 

nobody cares if he sits in corners and mourn 

you better get up and wipe your eyes 

if you talk, they will say you’re telling lies 

he is praised if the family is happy 

scorned if the family is unhappy 

what a terrible fate man beholds 

he is castigated lazy even if he’s bold 

even on his death bed he is questioned 

why in a hurry, why don’t you feed the nation 

please stay a while and tell us your codes 

pins, safes boxes and secret loads
