SOLACE OF THE NIGHT

 

the silence and darkness 

stillness and coziness 

a bed among the grass I called home 

the whole sky looks like a dome 

I found solace in the night  

as tranquility and peace radiates in starlight

the glittering reflections of dews on leaves 

this is life’s essence, my soul believes 

a falling star surfaces 

a random nature’s beauty in phases 

the world is a perfect canvas  

my soul loves my existence however 

the sonorous chirping of insects 

fuels my passion to write a poem in text 

a distinct breeze rustle this beautiful tree 

it’s leaves falls down in style and steeze 

my pride is in my vision 

as I savor beauties fueling my orientation 

I found solace in the night 

a better scenery than twilight
