BITTERNESS

 

I see people having high hopes everyday 

running to create soft life and landmarks 

praying earnestly for uncommon favor 

we are all destitute, wayfaring strangers 

I see colors in the abysmal 

places where people neglect and write off

condemned people and races 

especially in the eyes of a dying soul 

I see unfulfilled dreams and ambitions 

goal oriented human full of dreams

would have changed the world with a spark 

but they are six feet below lying cold 

I see death in the arms of beloveth

people fully in love, neglecting hades 

love overrated but death underrated

giving preference to the less important 

I see no light at the end of each tunnel 

humans built too much hopes on nothingness 

all wanting to create comfort in their follies 

bitterness is all the world has to offer
