THE gOD IN ME

 

his voice echoes unhindered 

sometimes subtle, but chimes loudest 

my skin swells when he wants to take control 

my body, an habitat for his own 

the god in me shouts fraternity 

while my own soul chorus confraternity 

two contrasting goals aligning 

a spiral claim for catastrophe 

leave and let me live 

this mind, body and spirit is mine alone 

go anywhere else and posses the host 

your will is yours and yours alone 

yet still you said never 

you love and want to coexist my domain 

I hope you are ready to play by my book 

although I need you but… you need me the more
