ALLOW ME

 

it’s me against the whole universe 

thousands of poems I’ve written in stanza and verse 

beclouded by judgements in tunes in my head 

I’m not insane, no need of med 

allow me to lay claim of your space 

walk round your world in maze 

let my foot leave magical prints in your garden 

but me no but, simply call me your Aladdin 

let me paint your roses darker red 

from it’s petals, bees latch and are fed 

your corridors are dark, I’ll illuminate 

i don’t mind been schooled, nature will indoctrinate 

as cozy breeze swooshes across my bare knees 

your smile and grace are my wants and needs 

allow me to dive deep into your soul 

hoist you up, so nothing happens to your sole 

just allow me to show you simplicity 

our hearts to synchronize in uniformity 

let me paint your sky with stars 

at night, we’ll vibe along sharing the view of mars
