I SOAR

I soar in integrity 

when I choose to walk not in the ways of the ungodly 

my mind’s set on definite goals 

a clean conscious does it all 

I soar in peace 

when I have duly forgiven myself million times 

forgiving other comes so sleek 

my soul illuminates my body

I soar in joy 

when my aura becomes contagious 

everyone around me beams with joy 

we are legion 

I soar in confidence 

when I know He’s got my back always 

He who keeps me neither sleep no slumber 

the keeper of my life 

I soar in peace 

when I’ve laid everything off my chest

forgiven all who have wronged me 

no grudges against the tiniest being 

I soar in hope 

when my eyes are fixed on heavenly goals 

no more regrets in my daily dealings 

my reflection leaps in ecstasy
