IT’S OKAY

 

it’s okay to say I love you and bleed 

that word comes from the depth of the heart 

your feeling might be real 

but your partner’s might not 

It's okay for you to drown and let it go

pain is inevitable we know 

our lives are naturally worthless 

our breathe ceases without warning 

it’s okay to wield a knife 

cutting one’s pains off your skin 

if you feel you’d be relieved after 

why waste time to visit a guillotine 

it’s okay to hate people 

it’s innate, we were born with vices 

we are all born with madness and insanity 

variety is the spice of life 

it’s okay to sleep peacefully inside thorns 

true sorrows brings us comfort and focus 

my skin is thicker than hides 

my smiles mirror a dead victory

it’s okay to want to end it all 

the world is cursed, we all know

we sometimes pray never to wake up 

dreams and nightmares are just paradoxical 

it’s okay not to be okay 

no one has got life’s manual at hand 

we all walk on this path as looters 

endangering our fragile hearts
