I SEE YOU

 

I see you wake up every night 

drenching your pillows in tears 

crying softly without consoles 

hoping the pain will go away

I know life can be unfair most times 

I see you looking in the mirror 

wishing you were someone else 

those reflections dissatisfies you

your mental health can no longer uphold

nature is a terrible cheat 

I see you lost in thoughts 

you’ve lost that beautiful body you once had 

those scars on your belly aren’t suppose to be yours 

let me give you a kind reminder 

the joy of motherhood is the pain you went through  

I see you in that dark corner weeping 

crying out your heart as it aches 

you think you weren’t good enough 

you are perfect, they lost a gold

they never deserved it 

I see you in your solitude 

suicidal thoughts in your head with high magnitude 

you feel there’s nothing to live for any longer 

your suicidal note had already been completed 

please take a pause, a deep breath, I’m outside waiting
