THE MOON AT IT’S EDGE
nature steals a glance at us all
caring for us at all cost
but we human, so delusional and dumb
bunch of ill-mannered grump
the rain falls in due season to wet the soil
the soil listens and make way
plants yields and respond to calling
fruits comes calling for our attention
but we… we humans
a sworn enemy of progress and happiness
staunch lovers of retrogressions
betrayal of all creatures and demi-gods
ours to plunder, not to plough
burn down, cremate and obtain
craving for hierarchy and madness
all at the expenses of our breathe and honor
our innocence, speaking to us in our hearts
pleading us to turn back our ways and be renewed
but no, lust and envy has eating deep into our souls
to slay a fellow brother… beautiful craving
but the sun, the sun still smiles on us
radiating it’s rays to fuel our existence
and the moon, sitting at it’s edge at night
to light up our dark path, even if we result to maiming ourselves
