BROKEN TABLE

 

a broken table 

two broken hearts

that’s what we have become

promising lovers finally graduated to strangers 

rather becoming unbecoming

we decided to thread a path not palatable 

and here we are now, brooding 

once upon a time lovers

a thick wall separates us 

we, totally ignore as we felt it was normal 

left loopholes till it became an abyssal depth 

ignorance of little nuances have made us this 

I hope you love your side of the table 

mine is great too but… 😞

this will not end well for us 

our tragedies has just begun
