TEARS FROM THE GRAVE

 

don’t look back and cry 

screaming and yelling ‘God why’

you were given enough time to restitute 

but you decided to not live in truth 

life plays in charades 

you’re left with no option but to arrange 

if you die well, once is enough 

when lowered six feet, the earth won’t handle you rough 

caution yourself always 

you can’t be perfect all days

but if you play rightly with your dice 

goodness and mercy will stand for you, grace will arise 

be careful with your dealings 

when you die, there is no healings 

you alone will lie still in the cave 

No one will hear your tears from the grave
