HER BURROW

 

somewhere inside there

despite all the struggles mentally 

she still have that little spark 

to be someone better again 

redefined and ambitious

she keeps her chin up and tries to smile always 

hoping heaven will reconsider and open her chapter 

often times she kneels down to say a prayer 

but the words won’t come out, heart’s too heavy 

she sleeps off while kneeling

her dreams comes always with renewed hope

she wakes up gingered and ready to take the bull

but the horn isn’t there cause reality is in shambles 

depression creeps in again

she relapses back in thought, her mind’s befuddled 

you call her hardened and unredeemable 

just because she curses and act irrational 

if you had been in her shoes it might be worse  

probably you might not have gotten this far 

we are designed differently to withstand pressures 

she walks miles and miles just to ease her mind

her lonely world of pain and suffering 

she’s still caring and always listening to people 

people who has got it easier but think she’s perfect 

our mind is deeper than any depth 

but somewhere inside there

despite all the struggles mentally 

she still have that little spark 

to be someone better again
