ASH TRAY

 

complexity of our existence 

dreams, goals and battles 

essential terrestrial with free will

a mere creativity of God with breathe 

days numbered to live and procreate 

energy limited to ply the earth 

limitless knowledge to create it’s utopia 

limited knowledge on his existence 

wisdom fountain to drink without caution

cursed costume called skin

wrinkles with time and beauty soiled 

dentition ruined, teeth like corn 

time, a great healer but lousy beautician 

a hundred days feels like a glimpse 

our time is limited, why can’t we live forever

we are born to die, we should reverse it

if reverse was the case

we all can burn down on ash trays 

then like phoenixes, we will gather back 

rise up when the said time chimes
