WITHIN THESE WALLS

 

why stay brooding all the time 

confining yourself to immobile spot in tears

you know you are already being suicidal 

gradually losing what’s left of humanity in you 

raise up your chin and cheer up

the world does not pity for too long 

once they mourn at your funeral and leave 

the tears stops, you’re gone and forgotten 

would you prefer 

to stay within these walls and bleed 

or brace up, cheer up and feel 

petrichor and dew drops on your tender skin 

no matter what you feel deep inside 

someone out there has got it worse than you think 

no matter how hurting and lost you are 

a nice being just took the last breathe 

so why kill yourself slowly

human will forever be human notwithstanding 

they maim, kill, break and steal 

they even spit on your grave and curse your existence 

hey babe! wake up and smell the coffee 

you aren’t meant to be within these walls 

get up and level up

the world you once dreamed to conquer awaits you
