I CAPTURE MOMENTS

 

I capture my moments 

picturesque in motion 

my lens needs not to zoom 

my life’s resolution is imperfect 

I capture moments of wants 

craving for what’s gone and forgotten 

love lost and neglected 

utopia in my head, deteriorated fantasy island

I capture moments of denial 

when my heart wants what my head abhor

then mental battle ensures 

I suffer those pains within 

I capture moments of hatred

when I hate myself for trusting my desires

my instinct pleading me to focus

but me, I’m lost in lust

I capture moments of loneliness 

when my heart becomes weary 

beats faintly from past hurts 

spasm always follow suits 

I capture moments of filth 

I swim in stains and dirt 

lost my self confidence because of her 

memories I wish I never partook
