we’ve come a long way 

the road so rough but we are rugged

those risk we took that could have ended us 

but here we are, alive by his grace

it’s been years now and counting 

those hard works did eventually pay off

lovers come and lovers go 

but they taught us lessons that made us stronger

and cheers to those we’ve lost along the way 

they are dead and gone 

but we keep their memories intact

and cheer very loud 

for someday, we will all be dead and gone
