I RAN IN ESTACY

 

mama calling me but I ran 

my exuberance charging me 

this childish feelings surging in me 

adrenaline pumping in my veins without pity 

mama beckons me to stay home with her

kitchen chores I ignore 

let me be wild and free 

I’m still young, I wanna be carefree 

mama shouts my name at the top of her voice 

I ran with soap all over me 

the bath water is rather too cold 

rainfall would have been a better shower 

mama whispers into my ears 

after I shut my eyes to sleep 

I still hear her voice echo in sweet lullaby 

her goodnight forehead kiss is all my soul longs for
