THE PRIDE OF HUMAN

 

so delicate, that’s how we are 

soft and weak, that’s how our emotions are 

of all the creation, we are the weakest 

yet still, he gave us mantle of leadership 

why do we now pride ourselves 

arrogance and madness has become a garment 

we wear it always in different styles  

showing off, even to our maker 

we have forgotten purpose, forgotten it all

forgotten what we were created for 

a mere piece of clay praising itself 

forgetting what will become after our last breathe 

we tend to forget who we are 

what he carefully created us for 

just because of the little freedom that was bestowed upon us 

we still eyed his throne 

everyday he offers us second chances 

ignoring our deeds because he loves us the most 

if he decides to vent his anger 

we are wiped off in split seconds, just like that
