THE LEECH

 

the insatiability of human

our repugnant and vile state 

madness in retrospect

betrayal of kindness, lover of discord  

the leech has two daughters 

“give and give”

our vision have two missions 

“destroy and maim”

we milk everything dry without remorse 

we sow, reap and destroy the soil without shame 

we look not back to say “I’m sorry”

ours to always take even when it belongs not to us 

our pride has somewhat destroyed us 

we crack jokes just to know each other’s weakness 

we act in humility just to harness opportunities 

bereft of all indecency 

ours was to plough and not to plunder 

to sow more and reap less 

help heal and give faith to the faithless 

but no, we are the worst inhabitants of the earth 

humanity at the brink of extinction 

fallacies and heresy 

created a world of pain through our selfish desire

we don’t deserve this breathe
