SHE FADES

 

she fades 

yes she fades 

not bcos of her broken dreams 

but bcos of the blows emotions have dealt her

her fragile heart broken thousand times 

broken with promises unfulfilled 

promises that could have made her soar 

soar higher than the eagles 

her heart couldn’t take it anymore 

her nerves now weak and frail 

her eyes, losing visions and color 

her mind, now a junkyard for unrequited emotions

her feelings now vegetable-like 

heart’s a mess for all she cares 

her heart skips at every “hello”

she trust no one again “everyone is the same”

is she redeemable? Yes 

does she believe in herself? Not anymore 

she now a walking corpse of love 

she’s gone already, fading off
