ABANDONED BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

on the high unleveled ground he engages

aim, set and pulls trigger 

head rolls off for every shot

a living legend, a war warrior

disciplined with tactics and skills

smart alone to bring down an army without aid

such a rare skill and blessing

every living thing has got an exit date

a war not meant for them

a victory which was never theirs

due to selfish interest, they were sent 

and he kissed his household goodbye

a goodbye he never knew will be forever 

for he will never set foot again on his home soil

geared up and ready to count victims

guess what? the victor's about to become the victim

during the battle, a counter measure was pulled

a wise hero will know the battle has gone out of hands

but they won't give up because of "last order"

now, their bodies are about to be buried without a coffin, without a grave

left alone on the battle field 

a strong warrior with an eagle's eye

respected for he never misses a shot 

now he's alone to wallow

ammo already out, gun already jammed 

his brothers dismembered on the field

as he clean his sweaty forehead looking up the sky

a missile on its way coming to hug
