I just wanna be here

there where serenity speaks 

where the world shuts out 

and my spirit beams 

I just wanna be here

the soft, sleek and calm ripples 

caressing my feet as they flow

shivers down my spine in ecstacy 

I just wanna sit 

on this wooden seat 

latching on those ropes

closing my eyes to feel the wind crawling on my skin

I just wanna be there

where no one sits beside me and stare

expecting me to show any sign of care

a cross I don't wanna bear

I just wanna be here

far from love, hate and bitterness 

travelling a million miles just to realize 

that there is more to life than just here and now
