WHY CAN'T WE BE HAPPY

see the children playing and screaming 

with lots of love in their hearts 

they house no hatred 

purely radiating natural energies 

see the birds in the sky 

flying in synchronized unison 

their wings in rhythm with the wind 

their glittering tails glides 

see the fireflies in display 

so tiny, soft and cute 

they make sure they illuminate 

all dark paths at night 

see the rabbits and their skin

so tender and fluffy 

they stare at you twitching their nose 

they hop to you with affection 

the cat comes to your feet to cuddle 

gracefully walking to you for affection 

meows beside you for attention

the pattern of their pupils is so damn alluring

the dog barks for attention

visibly protecting humans from danger 

wags his tail always in happiness

won't mind laying his life down anytime 

the melodious cries of new born babies in the ward

their soft skins and glow 

 anytime a baby stares at me

I see an angel in their eyes smiling at me
