H.U.M.A.N.I.T.Y fades

 

I still stare at the clouds wondering why we don't know how to fly yet

why angels have wings and we don't

why we only dream when we sleep though 

and wake up on empty promises 

why do we pray always to something for miracles 

offer sacrifices just to make things happen

aren't we gods enough 

to create destinies without altercations

we claim to love one another 

we believe so much in our existence 

but religion, tribes and beliefs has ruled a line

humanity has lost initiatives

We still doubt the power of hug

a bossom so soft and comforting 

affection that houses a thousand words

a speechless and silent love in those arms

hey you! why swimming in a pool of hatred 

enjoying the sunbath of callousness

drinking gossip like margarita

 and swaying to pantomime of repugnancy 

how beautiful and how tragic is this world

no serenity, no peace, no .... 

we all pat ourselves in the back with thorns in our palms

humanity is at the brim of extinction
