DARKNESS

darkness lies inside us all

mistakes and regrets makes us all fall

if you don't stand strong with your conscience

you will lose everything, including your patience 

our hearts are filled with fear and hatred 

our veins pumping with liquid coloured red 

be careful not to fall when people push you 

they just want to bring out the beast in you 

stand in awe and stand firm 

with pride and confidence, stand in a good realm

let those wanting your downfall try their best

rebuke them not for we are one 

everyone's fighting inner darkness in turn 

when you see people soliloquizing 

there is a mental battle going on in psyche, hiding 

the real darkness is in us all

wanting to wrap us up like foil 

it whispers to your soul everyday 

hold on to your faith, be steadfast and pray
