THE INEVITABLE

the inevitability 

the sad reality we choose to ignore

the dominance of time

time kills everything

the gasp, the last breathe 

grim reaper and his scythe 

six feet in elegance

the coffin and it's coziness 

our life's nothing but a vapour 

which before a blink, is gone

varnish into the unknown 

our existence is simply oblivion 

our lives are worth nothing

our existence has no significant 

our breathe isn't promised

if then, why bask in pride?

for everyday we face the same truth..

that our time here is fleeting

that our life is short 

death is inevitable
