INFIRMITY OF HUMANITY
energy zapped as we fall flat
blinking battery low as we lay like mat
can't even move a muscle
all strength taken by the life's hustle
our tired is tired
our strength gone sour
our muscles cower
we are gradually losing skin colour
we go pale, cream bails us out
we go frail, a smile upholds us
we go stale, countenance plays it's role
we go stiff, music comes through
we are all weak
forget how wealthy you are
we have all gone sick, really sick
infirmity of humanity
if we don't retrace where we got it all wrong
let's hope then for a luxurious demise
for once our batteries runs out
nature would refuse to recharge us
