ENEMY OF MYSELF

I am the enemy of myself

I need not be told further 

for my actions depicts my intentions 

intentions detrimental to myself

my reflection troubles me 

but the mirror speaks well for me

my psychological doppelganger pricks

it taunts me 

researching all means to yank me

pull me down from my decent height 

I'm stained, guilty but this isn't right 

this is awful, I'm my own darkness

go to church sometimes and pray for my enemy to die

fall of my knees to cry "Haba father"

sweating profusely as I pray hard

but wait, what if I'm the enemy of myself?
