I COLOURED MY EGO

with a deep sense of no remorse 

I coloured my ego in black

as I stand  on the porch 

 regretting some of my past actions 

with a deep sense of hatred

I coloured my ego in brown

as I reflect on my phobias

feeling disgusted

with a deep sense of gratitude

I coloured my ego in wine

reminiscing the past 

wishing I could go back being a child

with a deep sense of likeness

I coloured my ego in pink

remembering all my loved ones

grateful i savoured moments spent with them

with a deep sense of love

I coloured my ego in red

my mind occupied with thoughts of my fiance

she is my formidable pillar 

with a deep sense of sadness

I coloured my ego in grey

as I remember friends I've lost along the way

you are gone but not forgotten

with a deep sense of achievements

I coloured my ego in white

I have lots of things to be thankful for

and the already blessed future coming
