RENEW

out of the lurking darkness inside the pillar

shut out of the human world 

just as the walls cracked and it gave way 

I came out brand new 

and out I beautifully emerged 

like a caterpillar 

struggling out of his cocoon

breathing the new air

me

a complete and totally different being

I emerge as new creature 

stepping forth in my brand new suit

yes, I am renewed 

refreshed

a new life form now flows in me

I am made to radiate a new energy
