HOPEFUL

In the face of struggles

I raise my hopes high

come what may at anytime

I am hopeful

even if I thread the Lion's path

even if I walk close to their pride

no matter their fierce roar and dash

I am hopeful 

In a midst of thousand struggles 

I stand firm with my flames

despite different scenario to put it out 

I am hopeful

paddling my little boat in a rushing river

i hold firm my paddle 

even if my boat heads for a waterfall

I am hopeful

walking barefoot in a desert 

is what I never prayed for 

but if I find myself in such scene

I am hopeful

with all strength in me 

I pull through life's turbulence

even if I am not where I pray to be today 

so long I breathe, I am hopeful
