THROUGH THEIR LENS

a peaceful protest again this day 13/2/21
we were all warned
to stand down and remain in suffering
eat whatever crumbs the government is offering

Fulani Herdsmen has ravaged our land
our legs are shaking even as we stand
our hands are tied even if we yell
this is never a country to live and dwell

still they deployed police to Tollgate
holding rifles in their hands like plate
knowing fully well this is a just cause
Hey Officer! can't you just sit down, think and pause

this government has nothing else to give
ready to milk the country dry and leave
not minding burning down the whole country
pressing down all citizens like laundry

through their lens, we are dunce youth
a lost generation like their lost tooth
we are stronger beyond our own comprehension
the war is set, no giving up on this mission

  5. It's really sad we the so called leaders of tomorrow are experiencing the bullying acts of those we call our elders(The Politicians)

There's very little to be done, yet Soo much to achieve, but we just have to keep trying and never give up.

  6. "keep on trying and never give up" as you have said. That is the spirit and I pray we all make it to the promised land
