IN PENURY

we are all living in penury

living in abject poverty 

you may say it's a thing of the mind

but if you don't have love, you are blind 

if you cease to radiate love, you're not kind

think deep and process thoughts in your mind 

for thick darkness has engulfed your heart 

to get cleansed, you need to mentally fight 

penury is not about wealth 

for us, is basically humanity 

for once the flame of love goes off

our extinction comes alive
