THE MURMUR

they woke me up

their noise woke me up

baseless argument which was not

arguments no man can win

they wriggle their ways out from politics 

fashion, lifestyle and finally fell on religion

spilling trash from their mouths 

quoting verbatim and baseless points

they gather up more and more 

mature fools chewing and choking on their words

yelling from their lungs as they speak

not minding the peace of the neighborhood

don't people know religion should be left secret?

religion is an individual practice?

if you cannot preach love and unity

just live and let's live

religion that may be the end of humanity

religion that may cause the third world war 

religion as a time bomb

should never be tampered with

still they argue on which religion is supreme

unable to come to a conclusion

within a twinkle of an eye, fight ensues 

pains and cries rends the sky
