SCARS

we all have that mark

that scar that reminds us 

of stories we may not be able to explain

even if questioned deep about it

these scars brings back awful memories at times

some we are so proud of

some our eyes goes teary 

while others, uncontrollable tears streams down

the place of the scar on our body matters not

the story is houses is the main

the visible scars are the most traumatic

most people grimace when they see it

some scars turns to stigmas

it leaves us questionable 

others disfigures

and brings us low self esteem

but be proud of your scars

they remind you of battles won

victories some did not survive 

your scars are meant to be celebrated
