But the government decided to murder peaceful protesters 

A lekki massacre never to be forgotten 

Still in the struggles of black lives matters

George Floyd was pinned down by a cop

He tried breathing but was asphyxiated 

What a tragic way to die

He impacted lots of fans

Chadwick Boseman made black Africans proud 

A black super hero never heard of before

But illness puts out his flames

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandiba Mandela was right on time

Grew to his prime and will forever be remembered

Life cut short within seconds

One light out in the wind

Gave all his might for the liberation

His flames still fill our nostrils

Lots of candles currently in the wind

Oppressors trying hard to put their lights out

Blinded by selfishness and self centeredness 

Just let humanity breathe
