THE SAILING SHIP

Sailing on the sea

Travelling to Barbados i traverse

With captain and first mate on deck

The ship sailed on scrupulously 

Anchor heavy, tucked in safely

Wind caressing the mast for motion

Deck creaking caused by the ripples of the sea

"Ahoy" echoes sailors as they sip brews 

Cajola lightens up our visions at night

Stars brightens up the sea at dark

Waves glittering as they latch the ship

Hitting the deck below as we sail on in serenity

Peering for any pirate ship in sight

Shipmates tapping their feet in melody

Brews raised high to salute the universe
