MEMORIES FADES
How brilliant and colourful just like rose petals
Transfixed, he's marvelled as she glitters
She turns and smiles to him from afar
He said to himself quietly "I'm lucky to have her"
She flutters her eye lashes
Still in that distance he craved for a little kiss
World's on fire, he reaches out to her
Moving in slow strides, she was already close
In a subtle embrace he held her close
As they stood face to face, time froze
Praying this moment should never end
Emotions rush, none can be compared
As they kneel under the oak tree
Professing their love, not minding the cold dew
They were in a different world
So perfectly made by the Lord
She felt his heart beating against her chest
Soft rhythm it made on her chest
So succulent, his hand caress her cheek
She looked into his eyes, he gave a cute wink
Can we be mortals forever?
Can this moment last forever?
If death comes, can we say never?
Maybe tomorrow we'll know better
As her father led her into the room
Walking down the aisle, she's said "I do"
Best day of their lives as people cheered
She threw up the bouquet in tears
Suddenly she woke up from the dream
Stare at her aged finger that housed the ring
How could life flip off his page
Knowing they forever promised to live till date
She stretched her wrinkled aged arm
Straight to the side table to put on the lamp
Staring at the bedside photo
Which has the image of she and her late beloved
Sitting up, she became transposed
Stood still, lost in the pose
Gradually Alzheimer creeps in
Tears roll down as those cherished memories fades
