BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS

Immeasurable tears streams down as she weeps

Voices echoes as tears drips

She stares at the knife as depression speaks

Life is worthless love hurts too deep

He stood and stare from the edge of the bridge

Oh! My, his soul is out of reach

His old lover pushed his heart off the cliff

"Life is worthless" as he jumps in grief

She screams and yells in the labour room

Expecting her nine months labour from her womb

Pains unbearable, closes her legs in frenzy

congratulations, here comes a still born baby

He woke up early but already late for work

Kissed his wife and kids they wish him luck

Drove in speed just past the dock

Ended his break under a truck

She stabbed him with a knife and left it in his throat 

Laid his body and dumped it in his boat 

Pushed it into the sea and watch it float 

Jealousy so deadly she wore it like a coat 

They said their prayers and went to bed

Hoping to see the next day ahead

Gas leak and the house goes boom!

They shouted but no one heard 

She wants a better life so she went to school

Little did she know there are other rules

Going to hostel from school studies that night 

She was bruised and raped under the twilight 

He held his phone and struggled to dial the keypad

hemorrhage rush from the bullet pierced side

Going cold as his vision blurs 

Eyes shut as his last pulse drops

Life's but a boulevard of broken dreams

Humans toil and sweat to get to the brim

When the hour comes to draw our last breath

We say "vanity", for all our dreams are broken
