DIRGE IN ANGST
he fought hard
Yes he did, fought hard
Trying to sail through life's turbulence sea
He was later lost at sea
A cousin and a brother
Loved by everyone even as a toddler
He had high hopes and dreams
But death took him in a wink blink
On the island we use to sail away
In order to fend for the day
Although we had disagreements
It was all good for achievements
The only son of his parents
Full of life and lots of talents
A strong goal getter for success
Life is cruel, short and helpless
An angel in disguise on earth
not minding if they will chorus his dirge
He tried to rescue a drowning soul in the sea
Despite the struggles, never gave up but got lost at sea
I tried to picture his last thought in that state
How cruel life can be with such fate
Oh! Death, why then do thou happily create
Such angst amongst his mate
When I heard the news I never shed a tear
Knowing he had lived with no sign of fear
People asked why I was never sober
I said "you will never understand despite he died in October"
When people go sober I smile
Everything felt rushed in his prime
Although we still communicate for real
Till date, we see each other in my dreams
We talked and play like never before
Walked and sail like we were on tour
He tells me how much he misses home
Pat him on his shoulder and say "don't worry sly, you are in a better home"

Bro........... This is indeed a cut and paste of the falling hero. Continues to rest with other men of valour. "October never to be remembered" @sly
ReplyDeleteA real fallen hero to rise no more. Death took a future from the world, now his input is vacant.
