IT IS HERE AGAIN

 

gradually, daylight starts to dim 

dark clouds starts to sweep the sky 

the subtle winds chauffeur coolness 

curtains sways naked to the rhythm 

what a great time to be alive 

a mighty drum roll rends the sky 

clouds gathering, heavily pregnant 

day drift back to being a darkened night 

you better stay indoor 

no pity for who defies nature this time 

lightening strikes, the whole earth shakes 

clothes levitates on clothing lines 

nylons buzzing in the sky in ecstasy 

the feeling is mutual, I wish I could do the same 

screams of little kids waiting for the first drop 

listen to the grumbling sound

this won’t be ordinary when it comes pouring 

shut your doors and seal your windows 

it looks destructive, be active 

nature is beautiful, I can tell 

a tiny drop on my palm, here it comes 

few more and down it flushes 

petrichor follows, I love this feelings 

dark clouds, sickly thick 

the wind follows through, God bless this course 

it poured heavily upon the earth 

it’s beat upon my roof sounds electrifying 

a wild play by a rock band player 

beautiful yet so tragic, every roof feels it 

today is in for a long ride
